How it works

From first prompt to booked appointments

Set up an agent in an afternoon, connect it to a phone number or your website, and let it take calls while you keep an eye on every conversation.

  1. Step 1

    Build your agent

Start from a template, describe your business and let the AI prompt assistant draft the instructions. Pick a voice, then add your knowledge and tools.

  2. Step 2

    Connect a number or widget

Buy a number, bring your own through Twilio or a SIP trunk, or add a "Talk to us" voice button to your website.

  3. Step 3

It answers, books and follows up

The agent answers questions, books on your calendar, transfers to a person when needed and calls back contacts who opted in.

  4. Step 4

    Review every call

Each call comes back with a recording, transcript, summary, sentiment and the details you asked for. Improve the prompt, and the next call goes better.

Use cases

Eight agents, ready to adapt

Every template comes with a first message that discloses the AI, a tested prompt, suggested tools and the fields to extract after each call.

Change the wording, voice and tools freely: the AI disclosure always stays in the first message.

  • Inbound

    Receptionist

Answers every call, handles common questions, takes messages and transfers to your team.

“Thanks for calling. I'm the AI assistant here. How can I help you today?”

  • Inbound and outbound

    Appointment booking

Checks availability and books, moves or cancels appointments on your calendar.

“I can book, move or cancel your appointment. Which day works best?”

  • Inbound and outbound

    Lead qualification

Calls back leads who asked to be contacted, asks qualifying questions and books a meeting.

“I'm following up on the request you sent us. Is now a good time for two quick questions?”

  • Inbound

    Customer support

Solves common problems from your knowledge base and escalates the rest to a person.

“I'm an AI assistant and I'll do my best to help. What's going on?”

  • Inbound

    Order status

Looks up orders through your own system and tells callers where their order is.

“I can check on your order. Could you tell me the order number?”

  • Outbound

    Reminders and confirmations

Calls customers who opted in to remind them of an appointment and confirm or reschedule it.

“I'm calling to confirm your appointment tomorrow at 10:30. Does that still work?”

  • Outbound

    Feedback survey

Asks recent customers a few short questions about their visit and records the answers.

“Do you have two minutes to tell us how your visit went?”

  • Inbound and outbound

    Real-estate inquiries

Answers questions about listed properties, qualifies buyers or renters and books viewings.

“The two-bedroom on Maple Street is still available. Would you like to book a viewing?”

Features

Everything a voice agent needs to do real work

Build, connect, call, review and bill: the whole life of an AI phone agent in one dashboard.

  • Agent builder with AI help

Eight templates, a first message with the AI disclosure, and a prompt assistant that drafts instructions from a description of your business.

  • Natural voices

ElevenLabs and Retell AI voices in 19 languages and accents, including Hindi and Arabic, with the voice, language and model chosen per agent.

  • Knowledge base

Upload files, add web pages or paste text, for one agent or shared by every agent of the workspace.

  • Tools during the call

Book on Cal.com or Google Calendar, ask your systems through webhooks (n8n, Zapier), log to Google Sheets, transfer to a person or hang up.

  • Phone numbers

Buy local and toll-free numbers in the US and Canada, or import your own through Twilio or a SIP trunk such as Telnyx, Plivo or Exotel.

  • Inbound routing

Choose which agent answers each number, label your lines, set daily dial caps and simulate an inbound call to test the setup.

  • Consented outbound campaigns

Call contact lists inside a calling window with retries, pacing and daily caps. Only contacts with the right consent are dialed.

  • Call logs that explain themselves

Recordings, transcripts, summaries, sentiment, extracted data and tool calls for every call, with filters and CSV export.

  • Website voice widget

One script tag adds a "Talk to us" button that starts a voice call in the browser, only on the domains you allow.

  • Browser test calls

Talk to an agent from the dashboard before it takes a real call. Test calls use minutes like phone calls.

  • Compliance toolkit

AI disclosure, consent records, do-not-call lists, opt-out detection, calling hours, outbound approval and an audit log.

  • Analytics, API and webhooks

Calls, minutes, outcomes and bookings over time, plus a REST API and signed webhooks for your CRM and automations.

Built to run as your own voice AI SaaS

Sell AI phone agents under your own brand: plans with limits, payments, a credit wallet with your own price per minute and a full admin panel.

REST API, signed webhooks and notifications included

  • Your name, logo, colours and a white-label widget
  • Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay and bank transfer
  • Per-minute credits with your own markup
  • Plans, outbound approvals and tenant P&L
  • Any language, right-to-left included
  • Deploys to Vercel: no VPS or media server

Agent builder

Describe your business. Get an agent that sounds like it.

A template and the AI prompt assistant write the first draft. You fine-tune the prompt, voice, knowledge and tools, and the agent syncs to the voice provider in one click.

  • Eight templates with a tested prompt, suggested tools and post-call fields: receptionist, booking, lead qualification, support and more.
  • The AI prompt assistant drafts or improves instructions and first messages from a few lines about your business, with any OpenAI-compatible model or Anthropic.
  • ElevenLabs or Retell voices in 19 languages and accents, including Hindi and Arabic, with settings for interruptions, silence, voicemail and call length.
  • Knowledge from files, web pages and text, and tools for booking, webhooks, Google Sheets, transfers and ending the call.

Call logs

Every call, explained in seconds

No need to listen to hours of audio. Each call arrives with a summary, the caller's sentiment and the details your team needs, next to the recording and transcript.

  • Recordings, when you turn them on, with a transcript you can click to jump to any moment.
  • A summary, sentiment, success and your own fields after every call: booked, budget, callback time, anything you define.
  • Tool calls with their timing and result, latency, the cost of the call and its compliance facts.
  • Results go to your CRM, Google Sheets, Slack or any webhook, and calls export to CSV.

Outbound campaigns

Follow-ups that respect consent

Call back the people who asked to hear from you: appointment reminders, confirmations and callbacks, inside each contact's calling hours, with every call checked first.

  • Each campaign has a purpose, informational or marketing, and only contacts with a matching consent record are dialed.
  • Calling windows in the contact's time zone, retries for no answer and busy lines, pacing, daily caps and an abandonment guard.
  • Do-not-call lists, opt-outs said during a call and platform-wide blocks are checked again right before every dial.
  • Outbound calls start only after the operator approves the workspace, and a stop switch halts everything at once.

Compliance

Compliance built in, not bolted on

Calling people is regulated, and AI calls even more so. The guardrails come switched on, so doing the right thing is the default.

  • AI disclosure

Every first message tells callers they are speaking with an AI and names the business. If the wording is edited out, it is added back.

  • Consent records

Keep the type, purpose, source, time, IP address and wording of each consent, imported by CSV or sent through the API.

  • Do-not-call and opt-outs

Workspace and platform-wide lists, CSV uploads, and "don't call me again" detected in the call and added to the list.

  • Calling hours

Outbound calls only inside the allowed hours of each contact's time zone, with US state rules and holidays.

  • Recording notice and retention

When an agent records, a notice plays at the start of the call. Old recordings and transcripts are deleted on schedule.

  • Outbound approval

Workspaces send their business details and use case and accept the acceptable-use rules before the operator turns outbound calls on.

  • Caps and guards

Frequency caps per contact, daily dial caps per caller ID and an abandonment guard that pauses a campaign when too many answered calls hear no agent.

  • Audit log

Consent checks, blocks, dials, disclosures and opt-outs are logged append-only and can be exported as CSV.

These are tools that help you follow the rules, not legal advice. You remain responsible for the telemarketing, consent and recording laws that apply to your calls, such as the TCPA in the US, PECR and the GDPR in the UK and EU, and the TRAI rules in India.

Every check and every block is logged, so you can show how each call was made.

For SaaS owners

Your price per minute. Your margin.

Customers prepay call credits, every minute is billed at the price you set per voice provider, and the P&L shows what each workspace paid against what the providers charged you.

  • A price per minute for each voice provider, a platform fee for customers on their own keys, the billing increment and a minimum charge.
  • Plans include minutes; beyond them, calls draw from a credit wallet with packs, automatic recharge and low-balance alerts.
  • Credits are held when a call starts and settled when it ends, and a nightly check compares durations and costs with the providers' records.
  • Plans and credits are paid by Stripe, PayPal, Razorpay or bank transfer, and phone number rental is charged monthly.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What to know before your first agent picks up the phone.

Ask us anything
Which voice providers does Dialzen use? Do I need my own keys?

Agents run on ElevenLabs Agents or Retell AI. Whoever operates Dialzen adds the provider API keys once in the admin panel, so customers don't need provider accounts of their own. On plans that include it (Agency by default), a workspace can connect its own ElevenLabs or Retell keys and pay the provider directly, plus a small platform fee per minute.

What does a minute of calling cost?

Provider costs vary with the voice provider, the voice, the language model and the phone line, and they change over time, so check the providers' current prices. As the operator you set your own price per minute for each provider, the billing increment and the monthly price of a number. Customers see their price in the dashboard and pay from prepaid call credits once their plan's included minutes are used.

Can it call my leads?

Yes, when they have given the consent the law requires. Campaigns only dial contacts with a matching consent record, skip do-not-call numbers and opt-outs, stay inside calling hours and need the operator's approval of the workspace first. These checks help, but you are responsible for following the laws that apply to your calls, such as the TCPA in the US. It is built for follow-ups and reminders, not cold calling.

Does it speak Hindi and Arabic?

Yes. Agents speak 19 languages and accents, including Hindi and Arabic, with voices from the provider's library, and the automatic AI disclosure has Hindi, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian and German versions. The website and dashboard can be translated too: Hindi and Arabic language packs are included, with full right-to-left support.

Does it work without a VPS?

Yes. The voice provider handles the live audio, so Dialzen needs no media server: it deploys to Vercel with a cloud MySQL database and S3, R2 or Vercel Blob for recordings and files, plus an external cron that runs the scheduler every minute for campaigns. A VPS, Docker or Node.js hosting with cPanel work as well.

Can callers reach a human?

Yes. Give an agent the "Transfer to a person" tool with your team's number, and it hands the call over when the caller asks for a person or the situation needs one. Every template's rules tell the agent to offer a transfer, or to take a message when no transfer is available.

How are calls recorded and stored?

Recording is optional and set per agent; when it is on, a recording notice plays at the start of the call. After the call, the recording is copied from the voice provider to the operator's storage (the server's disk, S3-compatible storage or Vercel Blob) next to the transcript, summary and extracted data. Each workspace sets how many days recordings and transcripts are kept before they are deleted automatically.

Can I embed it on my website?

Yes. Turn on the widget for an agent, list the domains where it may appear and paste one script tag. Visitors click "Talk to us" and talk to the agent in their browser after allowing the microphone. They are told they are speaking with an AI, and widget calls use minutes like phone calls.
